Marketing automation for industry and B2B that turns leads into sales
In a long industrial sales cycle, most leads are not buying today. We set up the marketing automation that nurtures them, scores them and hands them to sales at exactly the right moment — with nurturing flows, lead scoring and segmentation — so no opportunity goes cold for lack of follow-up.
Request your marketing automation assessment
We review your funnel, your leads and your CRM and tell you what to automate first. No obligation.
Marketing automation means automating the follow-up of your leads: email nurturing flows that educate them, lead scoring that detects when they are ready and a synchronisation with the CRM so sales acts at exactly the right moment. At induSmart we design it for the long sales cycle of industry and B2B, connecting website, forms and CRM so no lead is lost between the first contact and the sale.
You capture leads, but they go cold before buying
In industry and B2B almost nobody buys on the first visit. Somebody downloads a catalogue, asks for a quotation or leaves their email… and then weeks or months go by before they decide.
Without systematic follow-up, those leads go cold: sales cannot get to them all, the manual emails never get sent and the opportunity ends up with a competitor or forgotten.
Marketing automation solves exactly that: it keeps the conversation alive automatically, measures real interest and alerts sales when the lead is ready, without depending on anybody remembering to follow up.
What is marketing automation and what does it solve in B2B?
It is automating the repetitive marketing actions — emails, follow-ups, segmentation — to accompany each lead according to their behaviour. In an industrial context, with long cycles, it is where it pays off most. Three key ideas:
How we set up your marketing automation
1
We map your funnel
From the first contact to the sale, with its leaks.
→
2
We define flows and scoring
Segments, nurturing and scoring rules.
→
4
We measure and optimise
We see what converts and fine-tune.
What you gain
What you get from marketing automation
Getting more sales out of the leads you already capture, without adding hours to the sales team.
Fewer leads lost
Every contact enters a flow that looks after them.
Hotter leads
Sales only talks to those who are ready.
Effortless follow-up
The emails go out on their own, at exactly the right time.
Marketing and sales together
One single set of data, with no friction between teams.
More conversion
More leads that end up as a real opportunity.
Funnel visibility
You know what moves each lead and what converts.
What our marketing automation includes
What we usually set up in a B2B marketing automation project:
Segmenting contacts by profile and interest
Email nurturing flows
Lead scoring system
Forms and capture on the website
Marketing–sales synchronisation in the CRM
Alerts to sales for a hot lead
Welcome and reactivation sequences
Conversion and performance dashboards
How we work
From the map of your funnel to a system that works on its own, starting with what converts most.
Phase 1
Assessment
We analyse the funnel, the leads and the CRM to see where the leaks are.
Phase 2
Implementation
We build flows, scoring and integrations.
Phase 3
Optimisation
We measure, test and improve conversion.
Manual follow-up vs. marketing automation
| Judgement | Manual | With marketing automation |
|---|---|---|
| Follow-up | Depends on the diary | Automatic and constant |
| Prioritisation | By eye | By lead scoring |
| Cold leads | They get lost | They are nurtured until they mature |
| Marketing and sales | Each one on their own | Same data, aligned |

Common mistakes when automating marketing
Automating without a strategy. Sending emails for the sake of it burns your list; first you define the message and the segment.
Generic nurturing. The same email for everyone converts badly; you have to segment by profile and interest.
Scoring without business judgement. Badly calibrated scoring sends cold leads to sales and burns their trust.
Marketing and sales disconnected. If the CRM is not integrated, leads get lost in the handover.
What results you can expect
With the flows running, the first thing you notice is that leads stop getting lost: every contact enters a sequence and sales gets alerts about the ones that are ready.
Over time, funnel conversion and sales productivity improve: more opportunities are closed with the same team, because follow-up no longer depends on anybody's memory.
Who it is for
For industrial and B2B companies with long sales cycles that capture leads but do not manage to convert them all for lack of systematic follow-up.
And for those that want to align marketing and sales on a single CRM, and stop losing opportunities between the first contact and the close.
Marketing automation, email and CRM
Marketing automation does not live alone: it rests on your email marketing as the channel, on your CRM as the database and, very often, on HubSpot or another platform to orchestrate it all.
We connect it with your integrations and APIs and coordinate it with process automation so the flow works end to end, and with CRO so the website captures the leads we then nurture better.
Where to start, depending on your company
There is no need to set it all up at once. The best first step depends on where you lose most opportunities.
If you capture leads but do not follow them up, we usually start with a nurturing flow and a welcome sequence: a visible result and quick to put in place.
If sales loses time on cold leads, we set up the lead scoring and the alerts first, so they go only for those who are ready.
If marketing and sales go their own separate ways, we start by synchronising the website and the forms with the CRM, often hand in hand with business intelligence to measure it all. We validate that first case and, from there, scale to the whole funnel.
Why us
Why automate your marketing with induSmart
We do not build flows because they are fashionable: as a digital business consultancy, we start by understanding your industrial funnel and sales cycle, we define the message and the segment, and only then do we automate what really moves sales.
And we do it connected to your CRM and to your sales team, with the platform that best fits your case. We are agnostic about technology: we choose by result, not out of commitment to a supplier.
We answer your questions
Frequently asked questions
What exactly is marketing automation?
It is automating the repetitive marketing actions — follow-up emails, segmentation, lead scoring — to accompany each contact according to their behaviour.
In industrial B2B it is useful above all to nurture leads through the long sales cycle and alert sales when they are ready.
How is it different from email marketing?
Email marketing is the channel; marketing automation is the system that decides which email to send, to whom and when, based on what each lead does.
They go together: automation uses email as one of its tools.
What is lead scoring and what is it for?
It is giving each lead points according to their behaviour — opening emails, visiting the website, downloading a catalogue — to know how much real interest they have.
That way sales prioritises the hot leads and does not lose time on the ones that are not yet mature.
Do I need a CRM for this?
Yes, or something equivalent where the contacts live. Marketing automation rests on the CRM to segment and to hand the leads to sales.
If you do not have it properly set up yet, we leave it ready as part of the project.
Do I have to use a specific platform such as HubSpot?
No. We work with HubSpot and with other platforms; we are agnostic and we choose the one that best fits your case and your budget.
What matters is the strategy; the tool is a means.
How long does it take to see results?
A first nurturing flow can be live in weeks, and the effect of not losing leads shows up quickly.
The improvement in funnel conversion settles in over the months that follow.
Does this not swamp my contacts with emails?
Not if it is done well. We segment and adjust the frequency so each lead receives only what is relevant to them.
Well-designed nurturing adds value, not noise.
How much does a marketing automation project cost?
It depends on the number of flows, the integration with your CRM and the platform chosen; we define it after the assessment.
We frame it by return: recovering leads that are lost today usually justifies the investment quickly.
